[22 Sep 2007|12:13am]  I am falling in love with her so badly. I should not as, thats my luck, she is a player and therfore shes playing with me at least she's honnest with that but still. The only reason why im fuck-friend with her its because at least im spending some time with her but obviously I would like a serious relationship with her. Maybe in the futur who knows. Otherwise, I still like Lille 2, its a great uni. Im not afraid of work even tought its loads of work ! the sea it swells

Colour of Fire - Fuck Work Let's Party [12 Mar 2005|10:40pm] [ mood | good ] [ music | Colour Of Fire - Robot Rock ] Composé de 4 jeunes anglais, Colour of Fire est un groupe en plus sur la liste du "prometteur avenir du rock". Le début de l'histoire, c'est 2 jeunes musiciens (Owen Richards et Stuart Jones) de York (Angleterre) de 2 groupes respectifs qui se rencontrent lors d'une petite tournée collective en Angleterre. Les 2 hommes commencent alors à écrire et jouent ensemble de la guitare, pour recruter plus tard Mathew Lunn, le batteur. Et le bassiste ? Une petite annonce dans le journal local, et la recherche est bouclée : Thomas Craigen entre dans le groupe. En 2002, un nouveau groupe est né : Colour of Fire (dont le nom est tiré d'un morceau des Boards of Canada). C'est alors que COF commence à faire quelques concerts, de 200 à 300 personnes pas plus. Certaines radios s'arrachent quelques uns de leurs titres et les diffusent. Sortie vers juillet 2004, leur première perfo "Pearl Necklace" trouva le soutient du producteur de U2 et de Placebo, Steve Osborne. Nos britanniques ne nieront alors pas leurs influences rock telles Nirvana, Sonic Youth, The Vines, The Kinks ou encore Placebo avec qui ils ont pu tourner dans le monde. Dans leur premier album, on pourra retrouver certaines intros à la Placebo, mais aussi un mix douceur/hurlement très fréquent chez les Vines. Des comparaisons, oui, comme dans beaucoup de critiques. Mais les groupes ici-nommés ne sont-ils pas de bonnes références ? Alors Colour of Fire est un groupe unique, certes, anglais, assurement, et les jeunes bouilles des musicos en feront sourire plus d'unes ...
